Rick Toone’s latest build – an 8-string Ultimate Shred Machine – was put in my hands last Thursday. Yesterday we shot this video where I played a new tune called “The Thrill of the Hustle” that was born from improvised jams I was texting fellow Toone enthusiast Tosin Abasi right after Rick left on Thursday. Tuesday was the day I tightened up one of the jams, composed a B section with compounding three note chords that cluster, worked out the Infinity Looper parts and dialed in the tone on my Axe-Fx II XL.

This all part of a concerted effort between Rick & I where we put his art in my hands so I can create my art for all to take in. I’m beyond honored and excited to be able to do this and look very forward to the next project.
