Events include two clinics based on my best-selling TrueFire blues courses – Blues Progressions and Blues Soloing – a set of choice fusion-era Jeff Beck tunes! I cherry picked my favorites from albums such as Blow By Blow, Wired and There and Back. The gig will feature a great cast of players including Charlie Mills on drums and Arne Wendt on keys. We’ll be joined by Christine Martucci on Beck’s sweet arrangement of the Impressions classic “People Get Ready.”

My TrueFire courses will be sold at the venue, but get them early as they go fast!

In gear geek news I’ll be manning my new rig that’s centered around the amazing Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra. I jumped on board a few months ago and have been in the shed ever since. After a more than 15 year hiatus, this is a return to a MIDI-based rig that I thought would never have happened. But man(!), THIS SHIT IS AMAZING! On the floor will be Fractal’s MFC-101 MIDI Foot Controller and some expression pedals – and that’s IT. Not even an amp behind me – going direct to the house. LOOK OUT. Also, my beloved ’73 “Bionic” Strat will be back out on the stage for this run. That guitar RULES.
