Pricing and Policies
Here’s the rundown on pricing and some business details you’ll need to be hip to before jumping into the hot seat. Please email me here for additional information on initial consultation, requirements and pricing after reading the information below.
* Melodic Minor and Harmonic Minor 7-Tone as well as 5-Tone are directly related to Diatonic 7-Tone and therefore must be completed prior to starting these programs.
Private Lessons
- 1-hour lesson – $150
- Four 1-hour lessons – $400
7-Tone Sessions/5-Tone Sessions
- Four 1-hour lessons – $300
All in-person lessons are taught from my studio in Toms River, NJ. Otherwise lessons in other locations are scheduled and priced on a case-by-case basis. The 7-Tone Program Session rate is discounted as compared to my Private Lesson rate due to the overall time commitment involved. It’ll take you at least a year-and-a-half to get through either the Diatonic, Melodic Minor or Harmonic Minor 7-Tone programs and anywhere from six to nine months to complete 5-Tone.

- 1-hour lesson – $100
- 1.5-hour lesson – $125
- Four 1-hour lessons – $300
- Four 1.5-hour lessons – $400
*Online* Skype 7-Tone/5-Tone Sessions
- Four 1-hour lessons – $250
Online students will need a sufficient webcam, a headset (with a mic if there’s not one available within their computer system) and a PayPal account in good standing. For more information on requirements and recommendations click here.
The Business Part
All payments are made in advance. All students are subject to a 24-hour notice of change policy that will result in forfeiture of payment if not followed.
Skype students only: Keep in mind the internet is still an unpredictable venue for any type of real-time communication. We may experience drop outs or a poor connection at times. On the rare occasion a consistently stable connection is not possible at our agreed time I will make the call to have the lesson rescheduled.
