EBT_The long-awaited new release from Elijah B Torn – Biological Deadline – featuring yours truly on two tracks has been released. Drenched in delay and sliced and diced at the hands of a formidable electronic music producer these tracks (as well as the whole album) were well worth the wait. The release also features Elijah’s father – pioneering sound sculptor, David Torn. Given what I do with a guitar and sound it’s a real honor to be included on this album alongside both father and son. EBT_head

Brookdale_4.15.12_Band2Here’s some very good words from the Two River Times on the recent Fretless Hendrix Experience gig I did at the Brookdale Guitar Show!

Brookdale_4.15.12_Band2On April 15th I had the pleasure of rocking a set of Jimi Hendrix tunes to a standing-room-only crowd at the annual Brookdale Guitar Show exclusively on my Vigier Excalibur Surfreter Supra with Tobias Ralph (Adrian Belew) on drums, Steve Jenkins (Vernon Reid, solo artist) on bass and Eryn Shewell (solo artist) on vocals. We played took on Hendrix standards such as “Voodoo Chile” and “Red House” and even some not-so-common cuts like “Little Miss Lover.” I was very psyched we pulled of a really nice rendition of “May This Be Love” as well as surviving the chord work in “Little Wing” and “The Wind Cries Mary!” Can’t wait for the next one!

I’m posting choice clips from the gig on my YouTube channel. Check’em out as they come…
