Back in the late 90’s I was lucky enough to have my first real artist deal be with Matchless Amplification before Mark Sampson lost the company. I had a Chieftain 1X12 made for me that was covered in gray/black sparkle tolex. Instead of the face plate displaying “Chieftain” it had “Bones”, which lit up when turned on. It was freakin’ cool, but sadly I was living on my own in NYC and just starting out and let it go. I have no idea where it went and can’t find any records of the sale. If by chance you run into this amp I’d appreciate the tip greatly!
