I’ll be teaching at Devotion Gallery in the Williamsburg part of Brookyln. Some very cool stuff goes on at this joint and I’m proud to be a part of it. My first project will be an idea that I was cookin’ in my last year at Berklee that involves some insane ensemble playing opportunites for guitarists that are into math metal/pissed off music. I’ll let the cat out of the bag soon enough.

If you’re an Ableton Live fan check out one of its founders, Robert Henke, at Devotion Gallery on Oct. 10th. Click here for details. Be aware: This event requires an RSVP. To do that you gotta go here.

October, 7th, 2010 – @ Third Degree, Cookman St., Asbury Park, NJ

On this Thursday night I’ll be making some noise with some very good friends, Jon Francis Lucow and Tommy Bendel. These guys were part of my first free improv group, the Richard Weed Ensemle, who as a collective would audibly assault audiences all over New Brunswick especially on Thursdays at the Plum St. Cafe. It was with this group I put together a lot of my approaches to real-time effect manipulation and playing freely. It was a great time and set the stage for much that followed. Jon and Tommy are nothing short of genius and I’ll jump at any chance to join them. Come and see what I’m talking about.
